Mission
Portraits of a Disorder puts a much needed face (or faces) to an invisible disorder, Sensory Processing Disorder (SPD). Our aim is to show just how real Sensory Processing Disorder is by showing the many children (and some adults) who bare the diagnosis.
The site will feature images of these sensational individuals along with stories from the families about their sensational journey!
In addition to these stories and images, we will frequently post video journals and other entries that will go into greater detail about some of the challenges we may face day to do. Topics could include coping skills, tactile deficiencies and more!
